Seth Power’s debut album, “Souvenir,” is finally here.
After a year and a half of writing, recording, and producing, “Souvenir” has finally made its way into the world. “It’s been a long time coming,” says Seth. “I’ve devoted the last year and a half of my life to this album and it has required a lot of sacrifice. Throughout the whole recording process, I was working 6-7 days a week at a local restaurant just so I could afford to pay for studio time. Every dime I earned was redirected toward the album, and during that same time period, I married the love of my life, went on our honeymoon, and moved into a new house. Needless to say, it’s been a wild ride! I set out on the journey of writing and recording this album with the goal of documenting some momentous shifts I’ve undergone as a person. Throughout the process, I grew a lot as an artist, writer, and producer. I took my time with this one and I really think it shows. I’m just so glad it’s finally out there for people to hear and experience!”
There were so many people involved in the making of this record that we couldn’t fit them all on the back of the CD, so here they are! Each and every person involved in the making of this record brought their own unique flavor of musicianship to the table. This project simply would not be the same if it was recorded anywhere else besides Jackson, MS.
